Nonkululeko Pre-Primary

My inspiration...

Every Thursday, girls from St. Anne's Diocesan College hop on a bus and head down to Nonkululeko Pre-Primary school, where we teach and play with the children there. They are generally aged between 2 and 5. Most of the children’s mothers are the age of high school students and are still in school so the children need all the love, care and attention that they can get. This is where we come in, making a special effort every week to organise activities that the girls as well as the children will enjoy and benefit from, such as coulouring and working on pencil grip, painting, ball skills, reading, puzzles, games and even a few parties. It is vital for these children to gain these primary skills and to feel loved and cared for.

This pre-school is the inspiration behind this blog. The purpose is that I, as well as the public, can post good causes that people should follow on the site and share different learning activities for teachers to follow that both the learners and teachers will enjoy.

It is very rewarding to put a smile on the children's faces and to know that you are the one making a difference in these young children’s lives.
It only takes one to make a difference. All you have to do is take the first step.
SO BE BOLD and become part of an outreach programme, making our community a better place to live.
